Good Boots are Invaluable
I love rain.
I love that it makes things grow - forage for my goats, grass for my sheep, vegetables in my garden... Rain is important to the farm. But wet feet are a downer for the farmer - and since I'm outside for a couple of hours morning and evening, consistently wet feet can even pose a health hazard. That's why one of the often overlooked but most invaluable tools of a farmer are his or her boots. Good boots that keep you dry and warm are just as important as the rain!
(These are boots made by Sperry. What's your favorite farm footwear?)
